Past Work
I don't just build websites—I build the systems that run businesses. From operational platforms and workflow automation to e-commerce engines and tools that replace entire manual processes, every project here solved a real business problem.

Mobile Tyre Shop
National Company 2017 – 2019Brought on to improve UX and overhaul the e-commerce platform for a mobile tyre fitting business. Rebuilt the site from the ground up with a focus on self-service booking and tyre search, then continued with ongoing development and feature work through 2019.
The Problem
The existing site had a clunky user experience and the e-commerce setup wasn't working for their business model. Customers couldn't easily find tyres by size, pricing was unclear, and the booking flow was losing leads. The platform needed serious UX and technical work.
The Solution
Rebuilt the site with a search-first approach—customers enter their tyre size (width, profile, rim), browse matching tyres, and book a mobile fitting online. Added payment integrations, a free quote system, and optimised the entire experience for conversions and SEO.
Outcome: The site went from losing leads to capturing them around the clock. Customers could search, compare, and book without waiting for a callback—turning the website into the business's best salesperson.
UNCTAD World Investment Forum 2014
United Nations 2014Built the official website for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) World Investment Forum 2014, hosted at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. The site handled event information, speaker profiles, registration for world investment leaders, and live event bulletins during the October 2014 forum.
The Problem
The UN needed a modern, content-managed website for their flagship investment forum—capable of handling international registrations, multi-language support, event scheduling, and live updates during the conference. The site needed to be fully manageable by non-technical UN staff.
The Solution
A WordPress site with Bootstrap responsive framework, custom slider, events management, editable footer pages, a registration system with customised confirmation emails, and Google Translate integration. Built to be fully administrable—UN staff could manage content, add slider images, create events, and handle registrations independently.
Outcome: The site served as the official platform for the 2014 World Investment Forum at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. Successfully handled registrations for international delegates and world investment leaders. I received an official invitation and security badge to attend the forum as a recognised contributor.
JB Hi-Fi — Email Templates & Preference Centre
National Retailer 2018Built the responsive email templates and customer preference centre for JB Hi-Fi—Australia's largest home entertainment retailer and one of the biggest companies on the Klaviyo email platform at the time. The project involved modular email template blocks, responsive layouts tested across all major email clients, and a custom preference centre for subscription management.
The Problem
JB Hi-Fi needed responsive email templates that worked across every email client—including notoriously difficult Outlook versions—and a customer preference centre integrated with Klaviyo. Existing templates had layout issues on mobile and in Outlook, and there was no proper subscription management for customers.
The Solution
Built a modular block-based email template system in Klaviyo—responsive 4-column image grids collapsing to 2 on mobile, custom header blocks with “View Online” functionality, and barcode templates. Built a full preference centre with category-based subscriptions, custom checkbox styling, a “30-day break” option, and unsubscribe confirmation pages. All tested via Litmus across dozens of email clients.
Outcome: Delivered the email template system and preference centre for one of the largest companies on the Klaviyo platform. The preference centre pattern I built—including the 30-day break feature—became a standard approach that continued to be used across other major clients.
TuteSmart — Tutoring Centre Management Platform
Education Platform 2015 – 2022This wasn't a website—it was the operational backbone of a multi-centre tutoring business. A custom-built platform that managed the entire workflow: student enrolments, subject assignments, scheduling, attendance tracking, staff permissions, and centre operations across multiple locations. Seven years of continuous development from 2015 to 2022.
The Problem
TuteSmart was expanding to multiple centres and needed a centralised system to manage students, subjects, bookings, and staff across locations. Operations were fragmented and couldn't scale with the business.
The Solution
Built a custom web application from the ground up. Features included personalised student dashboards, subject management, user permissions with logging, multi-centre support, and card-swipe attendance integration. Managed the full infrastructure—servers, backups, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
Outcome: The platform supported TuteSmart's expansion from a single centre to multiple locations. Served as lead developer for seven years, managing everything from application development to server infrastructure.
EdUnlimited — Online VCE Study Guide Platform
Education Platform 2018 – 2022Built an online subscription platform giving VCE students unlimited access to 300+ study guides from ATAR Notes. Featured user registration with trial periods, subscription management, a responsive reading experience, and automated email communications. Scoped from August 2018, launched mid-2019.
The Problem
ATAR Notes had a large catalogue of VCE study guides sold individually. Students often needed multiple guides across subjects but the cost of buying them separately was prohibitive. There was no digital platform—everything was physical or PDF-based with no subscription model.
The Solution
Built a subscription-based web platform where students could access the entire catalogue digitally for a monthly fee. Featured 14-day and 28-day free trial flows with promo codes, onboarding email sequences, account management, and a responsive reading interface. Built the full email template system for transactional and marketing emails.
Outcome: The platform gave VCE students access to 300+ study guides on any device. EdUnlimited became a key product in the InStudent Media portfolio, with free trial promotions featured in school newsletters reaching thousands of VCE students.
These are just a handful. I've worked on hundreds of websites and projects over the years—happy to walk you through more in person.

I'd love to hear about it. Let's figure out if we're a good fit.
